BOARD CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON

Dr. Anita Patel was born and raised in Michigan, and attended the Honors College at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Biology, she received her medical doctorate from the University of Michigan Medical School, consistently regarded one of the top medical schools in the country.

Dr. Patel went on to train in General Surgery at Tulane University in New Orleans, and then moved to California to train in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Patel trained at the prestigious University of Southern California, with some of the top plastic surgeons in Los Angeles. In 2007, she traveled to Thailand as a Regan Fellow with Operation Smile, a volunteer organization performing cleft lip and palate surgery on children.

Dr. Patel is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

 Dr. Patel has presented her clinical research at numerous regional and national meetings, inlcuding the American College of Surgeons and the California Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Patel is now in private practice in downtown Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, with a special interest in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
